How to Find Amok - Instructions posted by unclesomebody ~ 31.12.2006 12:33
After spending way way too long searching for amok with the directions posted above, I thought I would post much easier directions to follow.
Park at the aquaduct along the N7 (there are a few parking places to choose from). Follow the aquaduct eastwards (towards rocher de bouligny) and after 100m or so the aquaduct goes underground. Continue to follow the track from the aquaduct. This will cross the route pompadour in another 100m. Continue walking along this path for another few hundred metres until you see some large fallen trees on the hillside on the left. Amok faces towards the path (ie. downhill) and should be visible from the path you are walking on. It is approx. 50m up the hillside.
There is a photo here, perhaps you could put it on this website;

It looks excellent. Look forward to going back to do it.
