Le Carnage assis   7c

area : Cuvier
type : sitstart / overhang

description : sitstart of Le Carnage; used to be predefined (without the last crimp for the right hand), but nowadays the problem is already 7c without this strange definition.

is carnage sitting REALLY without using the last RH hold? If so, it begs the question - "why?".

Why? posted by Bart ~ 29.09.2004 15:12

It is a silly definition but it is a great and popular move without that hold. See it as a nice game. Carnage sit start (with the hold) is only a little harder than from standing and doesn't change the grade.

Maybe not... posted by ChD ~ 29.09.2004 15:14

Since the start holds have been broken, I wonder if it's still feasible with the direct method. I guess you can use the right hand near the start holds of Berezina.

thanks for the info guys.

I guess the same sitter into carnazina wouldn't alter the grade significantly either then. Bye.
