Surely this must be a mistake? I did the sitstart, used the same hold with my left hand, matched with my right hand, moved my left hand a bit higher, and graped the top. That's easy, wait, lets check the guidebook... 7A??? Maybe as an extreme eliminate?

I know what I did 'wrong'. I started on the left hand side of the arete, which makes reaching the good holds fairly easy. So, eliminate it is. Start on the low right hand side: 7a?; start on the left/center of the arete: 5+.
