description : n°50a of the topo de la Canche aux Merciers, on the boulder of red n°15. Start completely to the right, follow the round arete, go down on slopers, traverse to the left and exit in the overhang.

Pour ceux qui ne le savent pas : Coup bas part de l'extrème droite en suivant l'arête. Le nom vient du fait de la redescente sur les plats, qui conduit à la position basse en crochet de pied vu sur les photos. Si l'on fait la traversée en ne partant que là, je comprend maintenant pourquoi qu'on estime parfois cette fameuse traversée à plus facile que 7a : Le coup bas.

partir extreme d en haut, trav à g ,descendre,trav g bas sous surplomb,boucle par le haut revenir au depart (bon voyage),dans les 7c resistance

...en partant de droite et en traversant sans prendre l'arête. Doigts solides recommandés pour une cotation assez haute.
