L'Isatis, qui a donné son nom au massif, n'est en fait jamais descendu jusqu'à Fontainebleau, cf la page http://www.tabou.be/totem240.php que nous signale Jean-Claude Valluet. Le nom, qui est celui d'un chemin du secteur, a été donné il y a fort longtemps par l'ONF (ou peut-être l'organisme qui le précédait?). On trouve à proximité la route du Renardeau : souvent le thème est le même dans un massif donné. Vous pourrez à ce propos regarder les noms des chemins au Rocher des Demoiselles, et chercher une explication logique! ;-))
