Anything easier in Boigneville environs? posted by Mike Froggatt ~ 07.01.2006 16:19
Will be stopping in Boigneville next Autumn - got the Bleau guide but also looking for any 4's to 6's closer to the village than Trois Pignons and Larchant groups. Info. would be much appreciated.
Mike.

Closest to Boigneville are Villetard (some 6a-6c, a 7a and a 7c+) and Oncy-sur-Ecole (a 7b+ and a 7c) but there are only a few problems in each area and there are no topo's yet describing these areas. In Boigneville you will find about 5 problems from 7a and up as wall as some easier problems but again, no topo! There is a lot of rock at the other side of the river Essonne if you come from Boigneville so maybe you could put up some interesting problems yourself. Malesherbes/Buthiers is closer to Boigneville than Larchant and offers very good climbing so why don't you go there?
