This area, very popular to walkers due to its proximity of the parking lot of La Buvette des Brigands, has been referenced by climbers only in the recent years. Most of the problems are on the South hill next to La Route des Dames, with three circuits (orange, blue and black). Other problems, on sparse boulders along the North hill (107m on the IGN map) have also been opened.
The access is rather simple from Le Chalet de la Caverne des Brigands. For the South hill, traverse to the right of La Route de Marie-Thérèse and for the North hill, just go up the slope above the parking lot.

Access

🚌 Bus 21 from Avon or the railway station of Fontainebleau-Avon up to Barbizon Cimetière : 20mn. Then 15mn on foot / 5mn by bike via Le Chemin de Bornage and La Route François Millet (bicycles accepted in the bus).
🚌 Bus 20 from Fontainebleau Centre or Bus 23 from the railway station of Fontainebleau-Avon up to Barbizon Plante Rabot. Then 25mn on foot, or 7mn by bike via La Grande Rue and l’Allée des Vaches (bicycles accepted in the bus).
🚌 Bus 19 from Melun up to Barbizon Plante Rabot. Then 25mn on foot, or 7mn by bike via La Grande Rue and l’Allée des Vaches (bicycles accepted in the bus).
