Two accesses are possible for this sector, located in the neighborhood of the town of Fontainebleau. The shortest way is to use a small parking lot at the crossing of ND de Bon Secours and follow the blue path which traverses to the right at the top of the slope. It is also possible to park the car at the bottom of the Route de la Reine Amélie and to follow this road to the Croix du Calvaire under which the climbing problems can be found (this is the logical way from the railway station of Fontainebleau-Avon). Notice that climbing at Le Calvaire is very particular, since it takes place not only on boulders, but also on a sort of rampart. The old orange circuit has been recently completed by yellow and blue ones.
Update (May 2009) : climbing the overhang has become very dangerous, due to erosion! By the way, a 16.5 tons boulder has been extracted from the roof on May 4, 2009 (which can now be seen on the plateau).
